Parent Involvement Participation Hours

Every parent of an ACND student is required to complete 10 PIP hours.  These hours must be completed by the end of the third quarter.  For each hour not completed, you will be expected to pay $30 per hour.

Ways to fulfill your PIP requirement:

• Attend Parent Council Meetings and school events

• Attend sporting events

• Join the Phone Tree Comittee

• Work in the concession stand, afternoons and evenings

• Help with plant maintenance (Double hours are given for PIP Work Saturdays - please check the calendar for these events)

• Volunteer to help with luncheons, receptions, and other school events

• Contribute your individual skills and talents to the school

Many other opportunities will become available throughout the year.  Read the monthly newsletter to stay informed. PIP Hours will be printed on the eldest child's report card.
