Invitation to Year Seventeen of the ACND Summer Fun Runs

The Cross-Country team invites you to join our group fun runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 6th through August 1st. We run at 6:30 pm from the Miami Shores Community Center on 97th Street and Park Avenue.
The runs are relaxed, with varying routes and distances. We usually split into three groups: walkers, short distance, and longer distance. We welcome people of all ages and ability levels, whether they are connected with ACND or not: adults, alums, high school students, middle school students, parents, friends of parents, ACND athletes, ACND students who are not athletes, friends of ACND students from other schools, people from the neighborhood, anyone who wants to join us.
The runs are a good way for everyone to get some exercise or to get into condition for other sports or just to get away from the pressures of a tough day.

Archbishop Curley Notre Dame Prep announces partnership with Arts for Learning (A4L) and will provide quality art instruction for students, in grades 6 to 9, commencing with summer art classes offered from June 17 to July 19, 2013.

11th Circuit Court Judge Made Interpretation of the Law and Justice Living Concepts for Students

Last week, 11th Circuit Court Judge Adalberto Jordan returned to his high school alma mater to speak at Archbishop Curley Notre Dame Prep´s 8th Annual Red Mass and Law Symposium.
"The Law Symposium is important to reconnect alumni to the school and allow current students to recognize the nexus between what they are learning and what happens in the outside world," commented Douglas Romanik, ACND Principal. "Judge Jordan made interpretation of the law and justice living concepts for the students to understand and apply in their own lives."
The ACND Prep Troubadours Are "Playing the Blackboard Blues!"

The Troubadours Instrumental Ensemble from Archbishop Curley Notre Dame Prep will be "playing the Blackboard Blues" this Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 7:30 pm! The community is invited to hear live performances by this award-winning group such as: Key´s "The Star Spangled Banner," Taylor´s "Mystic Mountain, and Estes´ "Blackboard Blues." Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
Girls' Softball Team captured the District Championship

On April 17th, the Girls' Softball Team captured the District Championship by defeating Miami Country Day 15-6. The team will compete against Florida Christian this coming Wednesday in the first round of the Regional Playoffs.

ACND Prep Senior Wins National Piano Guild Scholarship

Archbishop Curley Notre Dame Prep senior, Celestyn Angot has received the Mildred E. Allen Memorial Piano Scholarship. This award is presented to the top performer in the grades 9-10 piano performance category as part of the National Piano Guild auditions.

As we enter May, which is springtime, a time of new beginnings, a time of rebirth, it is time to say
goodbye to another Senior class. Over the past nine graduations, I have had to say goodbye to
our seniors, knowing that they were moving into the next level and phase of their walk towards
adulthood.

At this time we are preparing for the end of the year activities which include final exams and graduation. Below are the dates and times for specific exams. Parents of seniors have already received information regarding exams and end of the year ac-tivities and responsibilities in the mail.
