Planned Giving

Welcome to the planned giving Web site of Archbishop Curley Notre Dame High School. Planned gifts can benefit ACND while helping you to save taxes, increase your income and pass more on to your heirs.

Integrating charitable giving with financial and estate planning makes sense. Gifts to charity can dramatically reduce estate or income taxes.

Many planned giving options are available to accomplish tax and philanthropic goals. Some take effect during your lifetime; others become effective after the death. Some can be structured to provide life income for donors or their loved ones.

Benefits:

  • Avoid capital gains tax on appreciated value

  • Reduce estate taxes

  • Charitable intent will be carried out

  • Assets preserved in perpetuity

  • Create a permanent legacy

Ways to Give Wisely

You don't have to use cash to make a gift to Archbishop Curley Notre Dame High School.

You can give appreciated securities instead, using an asset that cost you less than the tax deduction you'll get for it today.

You can make a substantial gift to us through a transfer of residential, commercial, or undeveloped real estate.

You can give us an interest in a closely-held or family business.

You can give us personal property like books, artwork or equipment, and secure a charitable income tax deduction.

You can make a gift that costs you nothing during your lifetime.

Your bequest ensures that we can meet our goals tomorrow -- without affecting your assets today.

We offer a wise charitable alternative to the double taxation that awaits your retirement plan in your estate.

You can turn surplus life insurance coverage into a charitable gift to Curley, or use a new policy to create an endowment from income instead of capital.
