Multicultural environment. At ACND students from
every continent, from different economic and academic backgrounds,
gather and prepare themselves for college and for life. |

Small school. ACND's community of five hundred
students receives individual attention. |

Latest technology. Every ACND classroom and office has access to the school network and the world wide web. Two regularly upgraded, state of the art, technology centers are available to students before, during and after school to complete school assignments, send or receive E-mail, and carry out on-line research.
Several classrooms are equipped with Smartboards used for
instruction. Each student is given an account to Questia, the
world's largest on-line library. |

Guidance Department. ACND has a clinical psychologist on staff and two counselors who provide personal counseling, college and scholarship guidance. They seek out opportunities for scholarship and summer programs and attract college recruiters to the campus. |

Mentorship program. ACND's students work side by
side with outside professionals in careers of their interest. This
insures many colleges' acceptances. |
|
Advanced Curriculum. ACND's students can benefit
from the Honors and Advanced Placement Programs, dual enrollment and
independent study courses. An intensive Foundations Program prepares
incoming ninth graders for a successful sophomore year. |

Support programs. At ACND, counselors work
together with the faculty to provide for the students' personal and
spiritual growth. Some of the opportunities available are: Big
Brother / Big Sister Program, interest inventories, personal
interviews, retreats, teacher mentoring. |

Spiritual Life. At ACND, campus and peer ministers offer the students many
opportunities for spiritual growth: liturgical celebrations, various forms of retreats and other opportunities for reflection and prayer, eucharistic worship, workshops, and missionary experiences. |

Athletic programs. At ACND 70% of the students
participate in at least one of 27 sports every year. The gym and
fitness center are available to the students all year round. The
coaches are teachers in the classrooms and on the fields. |

School Spirit. At ACND students and teachers
support and care for one another. |
