Student Government 2007 - 2008

At ACND, the Student Government consists of elected officers and class representatives.  It strives to organize and schedule programs that promote cooperative interactions among the school community.

The Student Government supervises the numerous extra-curricular activities and clubs.  Finally, this organization has the duty of keeping lines of communication open between the student body, the faculty, and the administration.

Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of the Student Government is that it develops the leadership skills of those who are involved.  The Student Government's sponsoring of a leadership workshop for all the students further enhances this focus on leadership.

Many students who become involved go on to very successful academic careers and become eligible for various college programs and scholarships.
