ACND provides a comprehensive guidance program for each student.  The guidance counselors seek to meet with each student, assign tutoring as necessary, schedule testing, provide service referrals, and advise on career options.  Personal counseling and crisis intervention are available as needed.

Students must do their part as well. When they feel the need to talk to a counselor for personal or academic reasons, they should take the initiative to schedule an appointment. 

Post secondary counseling is also available to students.  This includes career exploration, interest inventory, scholarship searches and college matching and selection.  Students and their parents must shoulder much of the responsibility for college acceptances.  Assistance will be provided to each student in the completion of college and scholarship applications.
